Erika Nomland Cilengir

Erika Nomland Cilengir has always felt most at home in the land between art and science. Although an English major in college, she balanced her English classes with plenty of math and science classes.

A career in technology gave her the best of both worlds.

Cilengir has been the managing editor of the popular tea blog, TChing.com, and has written for Forecast Journal. Most recently her poem, “When I Belong,” was published in the anthology, The Citadel 2022. 

When Erika isn’t writing, she is active in Toastmasters, walks and runs the streets of LA, leads a communication workshop for previously unhoused women, and enjoys time with her math tutor husband, street photographer son, and sweet pup.
